This pivotal station is designed to keep students on track with their registers and to make sure they are budgeting correctly. You will also help guide them when they run into financial trouble. Great student interaction!

Child Care

Walk students through the differences of home-based and center-based daycare centers, diaper and feeding costs.

Clothing

This station is designed for students to compare and choose clothing options.

Convenience Store

This station is designed for students to purchase convience store gas and incidentals.

Entertainment

This station is designed for students to select and compare fun vacation and entertainment options.

Food & Household Goods

This station is designed for students to compare and choose a grocery plan (that includes household products) based on their assigned family situation.

Health Insurance

This station is designed for students to select and compare medical, dental, and vision insurance.

Home Insurance

This station is designed for students to purchase homeowners or renters insurance based on their housing choices.

Housing

This station is designed for students to select and compare a variety of local housing options.

Job Center

When a student runs out of funds to cover all their monthly expenses, they will visit this station to pick up a second job.

Personal Care

This station is designed for students to determine their monthly budget for health and beauty products as well as personal care services.

Pet Care

This station is designed for students to adopt and care for a pet.

Police Officer

This role is responsible for handing out "tickets" and Good Citizen Awards randomly to students throughout the event.

Savings & Investments

This station is designed to assist students in selecting a savings and investment plan.

Speed Bumps

This station is designed to represent those sudden, random, real-life expenses or unexpected incomes: for example, students may receive birthday money or get a flat tire.

Student Loans

This station is designed to explain the process and details of student loans and credit cards.

Technology

This station is designed for students to select and TV, Internet and cell phone plans.

Transportation

This station is designed for students to select and compare vehicle options.

Utilities

This station is designed for students to learn about the water, sewer, and electric/gas costs associated with their chosen housing.
